India

GRAFT India created a cross-border market access challenge exchange facilitating the two-way entry of Indian agtech startups into Australia.

Challenge

The program short-listed 12 best-in-class agtech startups from both Australia and India that are focused on deep science and advanced engineering. The program provides a model for technology trialling and scaling through bespoke support around technology and business model localisation, cultural immersion, customer exposure and access.

Solution

Beanstalk had a 10-day intensive market entry program in both countries for participant startups for cropping analytics, supply chain management platforms, rapid soil testing, and satellite remote sensing. It helped raise awareness of agribusiness and industry to the possibilities of attracting technologies solutions, focused to improve climate resilience in rain-fed agriculture, from both Australia and India to solve local agricultural challenges.
